- Exit slips
- PBL wall
- Peer feedback
- Teacher feedback
- Expert feedback
- Success criteria (peer, teacher, self)
- Reflections at the end of a project
- Reflecting on 21st century skills - collaboration
Look at an example of open-ended assessment opportunities programmed into a PBL overview.
Reflection Activity
In stage groups take 10 minutes to annotate what worked and didn’t work from last year. In green highlight parts that you would recommend to other stages.
Sample project assessment map
Planning Activity
In stage teams identify what the critical content and understandings are that you want students to have developed by the end of the project. (Use the scaffold of a project assessment map to help with this).
Then identify what tasks you will be designing and when you will be assessing students and put this information into project overviews.
Share these with the group and discuss.
